Independent concept

A concept to support the visit

This is an independent prototype, created to open a conversation. It is not an official website of Fondazione Bioparco di Roma and it is not proposed as a replacement for its channels: it is a concrete way to discuss how a digital guide could support the visit.

Starting point

Three visitor needs

  1. Finding your way around the park

Knowing where you are, what is nearby and how to reach the next point of interest.

  2. Discovering animals and learning content

Getting to know species and individuals through clear profiles, designed for families and schools.

  3. Finding services and accessible routes

Locating services, rest areas and paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

Try it

Four features to try

  • Interactive map

Animals, areas and services on the park plan, with filters, search and a keyboard-navigable list. No sign-up required.

  • Animal profiles

A profile for every animal and species, with facts, conservation status and a direct link to the map.

  • Walking and accessible routes

Routes along the park’s paths, with an accessible-only option. Location is turned on only with a click and is never stored.

  • Editorial management via back office

Profiles, hours, events, pages and the path network are updated from a restricted area, with no technical work.

Content, integrations and visual identity are open to validation by the Foundation.

Texts, hours, prices and events in the prototype are for demonstration only. Third-party photographs, names and materials require permission before any official or commercial use.
